The vibrant colour in his work, draws
on the warmth of a good English summer with cricket and picnics
and Wimbledon or perhaps the Dordogne with thyme and sage and
warm Cote D'azur fruits. Sam is quite a realist in his approach
to life but his romantic side surfaces and his love of sunshine
sea and the outdoors is abundantly apparent.
His
subject matter is much more varied and exciting and often
not run of the mill. In June 2009 Sam
exhibited at the Chelsea Art Society Open. Please check the date information for his
forthcoming exhibition in London Here
In fact Sam rarely sits still when
it comes to inspiration. He doesn't like to be tied to one idea
or theme and constantly searches for new areas of interest, new
subject matter that will break away from the obvious. He has a
great love of the medium and an eye for something new.
